… Ok I’ll be honest, that’s all I had for this section. This WordPress theme has a cool image carousel that changes as you scroll though, and since I want to keep it, the rest of this page (minus the social links at the bottom) will be dedicated to my cat.

This is Dave. He is a 15 year old Tuxedo whose hobbies include sleeping, begging for treats, cuddling in 10-minute intervals, begging for treats again, and drinking water from any sink he has access to. As the oldest of 3 (adopted) siblings, he has no cares to give, and will do what he wants, when he wants.

• Dave has unlocked the ability to teleport. No idea where he got it from, but it’s not uncommon to see him appear out of nowhere. Especially if food (or the prospect of it) is involved.
• Dave likes belly rubs. While I’m petting him, he tends to just flop over and lay there until I give him the attention he was already getting when he was upright.
• In general, Dave is very talkative. He greets you when you start petting him, and will meow at you when he wants something. He has different meows for when he’s annoyed, however he never growls or hisses.
• His purrs sound like a motorcycle engine. He also purrs a lot.
• Dave loves catnip. Whenever he’s given any, he makes it his mission to roll around and cover himself in as much of it as he can. He then goes to terrorize his brother.
  • This is also the only time in which his belly becomes a bear trap.

Dave has brought so much joy to my life, and I hope that he’s brought some to yours, too. Though he’s getting up there in his years, rest assured that he is healthy and well. I couldn’t have asked for a better cat.
